Food Donations
Have helped more than 1000 families till date
This is our most successful program so far. In mid 2018, when we had first started HEN, we had embarked on a pilot food donations programme in partnership with Trans Family Service Centre (FSC) in Bedok. This was to help the financially trapped families in Fenghshan with $50 worth of dry food rations every month. Our first delivery for 10 families took place on Monday 11th June 2018 and we continued for 3 months. The recipients families were extremely grateful as our food deliveries came right on time for their end of Ramadan fasting celebrations.
Now, in 2022, we are assisting over 50 families monthly in Tampines, Bukit Merah, Yishun and other families who have been referred to us from all around Singapore. For the whole of 2021, we assisted more than 700 families! Each family receives $50 worth of food rations or $50 in NTUC Vouchers every month.
